Another Day, Another

another day, another dollar.

i made it to work today.

a nickel for my time, and a

penny for my thoughts.

but the penny was discontinued,

so do i stay or do i go?

another day,

but, this one’s my last, and I gotta make it stretch

so I’m not past due on my rent.
